Archrival invites architects, designers, artists and other creative ‘makers’ to participate in Global Workshop; a sub-project for the installation Arena Calcetto at the Venice Architecture Biennale. As part of an indoor + outdoor site specific work, Archrival is calling out for the production of custom made fussball player objects for the exhibition. Archrival is looking for experimental objects with diverse materiality and a high level of craftsmanship or design.
You can participate in the Global Workshop in two ways;
1. If you're a Sydney-sider, join our workshops in Surry Hills in July-August
2. For all interstate and international competitors, we will issue you with a design brief package & delivery details
By joining the collaborative Global Workshop you join Archrival's project team and become one of the important co-authors of Arena Calcetto.
Sydney Rivals
For Sydney based participants is it essential that you attend and contribute to all workshops. Archrival’s method of designing and making involves project teams working and evolving together, so bring an open mind.
If you are a designer, please consider how you will fabricate your player(s).
If you are a maker, please consider who you will collaborate with to design your player(s).
